South Africa

Khumo Ya Afrika Investments (“KYAI”) have partnered with the Bakgatla Ba Kgafela Communal Property Association to develop the Rooderand 1 Tenement, with KYAI providing expertise and resources. The community and management both hold or share in the equity of the company equally. The company and community invited Platinum Australia who in turn provided the required USD10m and brought in expertise as well. Exploration on the project has been completed and the company has presently applied for a mining right, which we are awaiting from the South African government.

Zambia

KYAI through Khumo Ya Afrika Resources has been given four prospecting licences by the Zambian government.
These Tenements are on Zambia’s richest copper jurisdiction and one of the richest copper and cobalt deposit in the world. A pre-feasibility study has been completed in two of the Tenements and the company has invested over USD200K into the exploration phase so far. We are in the process of raising over USD22m for finalization of the exploration up to Bankable Feasibility or Competent Person’s Report.
